CHESNO and MOLODIZHNA VARTA Will Hold 7 Motivational Forums for Young People

CHESNO Civic Movement and MOLODIZHNA VARTA Civic Campaign will organise a number of Forum of the Future 2012 (FF 2012) for young people in Ukraine for the first time in order to motivate young people to knowingly participate in the development of the civil society and influencing the future of the country.

Each of the 7 large-scale meetings will gather up to 200 young leaders, members of youth NGOs, participants of the students' self-government and young people with the active civic stance. The Forums will be held:

on 10 October in Lviv

on 11 October in Ternopil

on 13 October in Odesa

on 14 October in Yalta

on 15 October in Dnipropetrovsk

on 16 October in Kharkiv

on 17 October in Kyiv.

The forum participants will discuss the participation of the young people in the social life of the country, the opportunities for influencing the government structures, the youth policy of the government, the integrity and efficiency of the current and forthcoming parliaments together with the Ukrainian and international experts and opinion leaders. Results of the "Filter the Parliament!" campaign of the civic audit of politicians and the report by MOLODIZHNA VARTA campaign on the implementation of the parliament's promises to young people will also be presented at the forums. After the end of the forums, the participants will organise a mobilising event calling upon the young people to be active.
